In Telugu: Besan means శెనగ పిండి (senaga pindi), చేనగ పిండి ( chenaga pindi), వలిచిన ముడి శెనగల పిండి, or నలుగు పిండి (nalugu pindi), bengal gram flour in telugu language.
In english: gram flour, brown chickpea flour.
In hindi: chana dal
It is more famous in various countries like India, Bangladesh, Burme, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
It is an important flour in the preparation of most of the bakery items.
It contains yellow colour and a source of more amount of protein and carbohydrates.
